New computer good. Old computer bad.
As you might be able to tell by the fact that I was finally able to post that picture of me and the dog, I finally broke down and bought a new computer. I couldn't take the crap anymore -- having to prop my screen up with my free hand because the hinges had all come loose, battling popups all the time, not being able to post pictures to my stupid blog.
All that crap is in the past, thanks to my new ibook G4. It's a beautiful thing, really. It's infinitely superior to my old steaming pile of poo that I called a computer. Now I can post all kinds of pictures -- I didn't even need a stupid driver to get my digital camera to work with the ibook!

I'm so happy for you! Except...take that sticker off the upper right hand corner. There we go. Now it's the most beautiful lappy I've ever seen. Have you tried expose out yet? f10, f11, f12 or something. ooh that's nice.

I haven't tried that. I'm still just familiarizing myself with the machine -- it's slightly different from Windows, and I haven't had to use a Mac in a few years. Good idea about the sticker. Thanks for your computer assistance.
Now I'm all paranoid about theft, too, because the last time I bought a laptop, it got stolen about two days later. That was a sad day. I'm hoping lightning doesn't strike twice. As long as I keep the fact that I have a Mac on the down-low, probably the area thieves will leave me alone.
