Colleen's Wedding!!
Ummm, this is mostly for Colleen's benefit, but I got my dress for the wedding today (thanks, UPS, for working on a holiday.) It's very cute and much better than the dress I mistakenly tried on at David's Bridal.
But it did seem a little loose in the chest area (a frequent problem for me, unfortunately) but I can't tell for sure, maybe that's how it's supposed to be?
In the picture, it looks fine though. I don't know, maybe I'm overanalyzing it. I just automatically assume that the top is fitting too loosely because that happens so often. Maybe I'll try it with a super-duper padded bra and see if that seems better.

Oh my gosh!!!!!! It looks great! I'm so freaking excited right now. I was having nightmares that you were all going to get the wrong top in the mail. The bust area looks good in the pic, but it's hard to tell. You might want to go, and try it on and see what they say. Not that I expected you to try it one with the dress, but did you get the sash? Just trying to make sure everyone got all there stuff :) Thanks for posting the pics you are sooooooo sweet!

Yeah, I got the sash, too. It looked so nice in its little plastic box thing that I didn't want to take it out and risk having it get all wrinkly in my closet.
But I'm kind of worried about transporting the dress when I come down for the wedding. My fear is that if I check it (probably I'd just repack it in the box it came in to avoid wrinkling), then what if the airline loses it and I'm totally screwed?
Are you having a bachelorette party before that weekend? If so, I might try to bring it with me then and just leave it with you.

Yeah, I wouldn't check it. Do you have any carry on suitcase on with wheels, or you could carry on the box if it isn't too big? I find mine works well for when I need to bring fancy stuff to Texas. Otherwise if you come in a different weekend you are welcome to leave it with me. And, don't worry I didn't try my sash on either. It's still in it's little plastic box for the same reason.
I haven't been informed of any bachelorette parties or anything being planned in St. Louis yet so I don't really know when or if one will be taking place.
